Saving a Friend from Drug Addiction

Many substance dependent individuals started their habit because of loneliness and lack belongingness. These are those people who have very few friends in school or in their neighbourhood. These individuals are seldom invited to parties and trips, making them feel solitary and alone in the world. So they tried drugs and they feel ecstatic, they would realise that if they have drugs they feel less lonely.
If you know a lonely kid in school, you can play a part in saving that kid from being addicted to drugs by simply becoming his friend. You can introduce him to your own set of friends and take him whenever you and your friends go on a wholesome and educational trip. By giving him the sense of belongingness, you have just snatched him from the possibility of him destroying his life because of drug abuse.
If you are an educator, you can start an organisation for this purpose and save even more lives. Drug abuse is a social problem and the solution to it is not merely in the hands of governments and the law enforcers. Everyone should get involved if we are to end drug addiction.
